Kanso is a Chrome browser extension that replaces your new tab page with a minimalist productivity dashboard featuring:

  • Todo list management
  • Pomodoro timer
  • Weather widget
  • Ambient sounds
  • Site blocking
  • Quick links

3. User Accounts

3.1 Free Users

  • No account required
  • All data stored locally on your device
  • Access to free features only

3.2 Premium Users

  • Google account required for authentication
  • Access to premium features
  • Cloud sync available
  • Subscription-based access

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Premium Plans

  • Monthly: Billed monthly, cancel anytime
  • Annual: Billed yearly, best value

4.2 Billing

  • Payments processed securely through Stripe
  • Prices displayed in your local currency
  • Automatic renewal for subscription plans

4.3 Cancellation

  • Cancel anytime through the customer portal
  • Access continues until the end of current billing period
  • No refunds for unused time

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension
  • Use the extension for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to bypass premium feature restrictions
  • Share your premium account with others
  • Redistribute or resell the extension

6. Intellectual Property

  • Kanso and its original content are owned by us
  • Background images are provided by Unsplash under their license
  • You retain ownership of your personal data (todos, settings)

7. Third-Party Services

The extension integrates with third-party services: Unsplash, WeatherAPI, Google, Supabase, and Stripe. These services have their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with all systems, or accuracy of weather data or other third-party content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features, update pricing (existing subscriptions honored), and change these Terms at any time.

11. Termination

We may terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France.
